Dr. Sydney Wong is the lead vascular and endovascular surgeon at Atrium Vascular Associates, serving patients across the Greater Toronto Area. He provides individualized, evidence-based vascular care with an emphasis on supporting a consistently thoughtful patient experience.
Training and Credentials
Dr. Wong earned his medical degree from Queen’s University and completed his residency in vascular surgery at the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and holds Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification, which reflects his advanced expertise in both vascular surgery and diagnostic imaging. In addition to clinical practice, he serves as a Surgeon-Teacher and lecturer with the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine, where he contributes to the training of future surgeons.

Dr. Wong practices the full scope of vascular surgery. His expertise includes open and endovascular aneurysm repair, carotid artery surgery for stroke prevention, angioplasty and stenting, peripheral bypass surgery, and arterial disease management. He also offers care for venous disease, including endovenous laser ablation, cyanoacrylate closure, sclerotherapy, and ambulatory phlebectomy. His practice integrates both minimally invasive and open techniques, allowing treatment plans to be tailored to each patient’s anatomy, symptoms, and goals.
